I like creating collections of hashtags in Later to conveniently add to posts. However, I find scrolling through the collections of hashtags and adding them to posts tedious and time-consuming. Right now, adding hashtags requires at least 60–90 seconds per post, which is just enough friction to be annoying (especially when scheduling large quantities of posts). Say, for example, I have these collections of hashtags (imagine that each collection has 3–6 hashtags included): Generic Coffee Mugs Pink For 99% of my posts, I want to apply the "Generic" collection. Then, I include the "Generic" and "Coffee Mugs" collections for all posts focused on coffee mugs. Finally, for all pink coffee mugs, I include the "Generic," "Coffee Mugs," and "Pink" collections. To simplify grouping and applying hashtags, I've had the idea of "compound hashtags," which would be multiple collections of hashtags grouped together. If "compound hashtags" existed, I might create a compound collection as such: Pink coffee mugs Includes "Generic" Includes "Coffee Mugs" Includes "Pink" Then, when I select the "Pink coffee mugs" collection, all hashtags from sub-collections are automatically applied. This would save me a lot of time if I'm sharing a bunch of posts about coffee mugs of different colors — I could have multiple compound hashtags that include both "Generic" and "Coffee Mugs" but change the color depending on the mug. This would save time scrolling through the list and clicking multiple collections of hashtags to add to posts.
